Deloitte and Inc. name New Edge Networks on lists of fastest growing 500 companies
VANCOUVER, Wash. – (Oct. 19, 2005) – Deloitte Touche USA and Inc. magazine each named New Edge Networks on their respective list of the fastest growing 500 companies.
New Edge Networks made its debut as No. 67 on the Deloitte Touche Fast 500 list of fastest growing technology companies in North America. New Edge Networks’ revenue grew 3,654.2 percent from $3.1 million in 2000 to $115.1 million in 2004. Deloitte ranks both public and private technology companies in the U.S. and Canada.
Inc. magazine ranked New Edge Networks No. 283 on its 24th annual ranking of the 500 fastest growing private companies in America. New Edge Networks posted a three-year average annual revenue growth rate of 442.2 percent. The Inc. 500 list includes private companies in all industries.
New Edge Networks was the 11th fastest growing communications/networking company on the Deloitte list. It ranked No. 18 among communications providers on the Inc. 500.

Earlier this month, New Edge Networks was named No. 6 among the Deloitte 2005 Technology Fast 50 for Washington State. New Edge Networks also has achieved high rankings in each of the last three years on fastest growing company lists compiled by both the Portland (Ore.) Business Journal and Puget Sound (Seattle) Business Journal.
New Edge Networks was formed in June 1999. Its principal investors include Accel Partners, Crosspoint Ventures, Goldman Sachs & Co., and Greylock.
