New Edge Networks and LiveVault to Deliver Automatic Computer Backup Service Through DSL Connections
VANCOUVER, Wash. — (Sept. 19, 2000) — In a move to expand revenue potential for its resellers, New Edge Networks today announced it has reached an agreement with LiveVault Corp. to offer real-time computer server backup through “always on” business-class DSL connections in small, midsize and semirural markets.
Under terms of the agreement, New Edge Networks, the leading national wholesale broadband services provider in smaller markets, will provide LiveVault’s computer backup service over its network. Internet service providers, communications companies, and other distribution channel affiliates can package and offer this service to their business customers. LiveVault is a leading supplier of real-time backup solutions for Windows NTtm and Windows 2000tm servers.
