EarthLink Names Cardi Prinzi as President of New Edge Networks

Telecom Veteran to Lead EarthLink Business Subsidiary

ATLANTA, June 15, 2009 — EarthLink, Inc. (Nasdaq: ELNK) today announced the appointment of Cardi Prinzi as president of New Edge Networks, the company’s business communications division. Prinzi will lead EarthLink’s managed services business to optimize growth and profitability, while further developing its competitive positioning in the marketplace.

Prinzi joins EarthLink from TelePacific Communications where he was Senior Vice President of Marketing for the full service business telecommunications company. While at TelePacific Prinzi was responsible for sales, product development and management, marketing, regulatory and external affairs. He led the development of transformational data product and VOIP strategies as well as played a leadership role in the planning and integration of three acquisitions.

“Cardi is a 25-year veteran and a seasoned leader in the telecommunications/managed services industry who understands the value proposition of the CLEC segment. He is extremely proficient in executing sales strategies in the small-to-medium enterprise (SME) space with a key focus on integrated voice and data products and multi-location customers,” explained EarthLink Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Rolla P. Huff. “Throughout each step in his career, Cardi has built a competency in successfully managing sales and marketing groups, product platforms and customer relationships. In addition to his six years with TelePacific, Prinzi brings more than 25 years of industry experience in sales and marketing leadership, as well as data operations management with companies such as Pihana Pacific, Inc. (Equinix, Inc.), WorldCom/MFS and Sprint.
